It does not show all auctions to buyers, which in turn give you better pricing in the end.
Mine's a small agency involved in Viability Analysis, which roughly translates as figuring out whether people's ideas will succeed or fail - before they invest their hard earned millions.

By the way, I hope your partner's supporting your initiative. If not, that could be a problem. The time involved in being the boss is phenomenal.

And finally remember: Nothing's a problem only a challenge.

Good luck.

Nate.
Its not easy and will stretch your relationship with your wife unless it is very very strong ! Regards,
I've added it to to 'my favourites' as I'm going to have a proper look when I have more time.

In response to:How do I stop dreaming and actually start my own business?

Cheers Nate.
This is the sort of simple advice I need. As well as my savings I'm going to write a timetable of things - a sort of countdown to handing in my resignation letter.

What's your business?

In response to:How do I stop dreaming and actually start my own business?

Can you afford to go part time at work? Start with one day a week less and use that time to develop your business plan and contact potential contacts. As it develops look at changing your work pattern, less hours, flexible working etc. You work in the local government and you have a small child - there should therefore be some flexibility available. You can use the request for flexible working path by saying you want to spend more time with your child?

Good luck with it - a colleague of mine has recently written a book about starting your own business - here's his website as it might be of interest to you. http://www.theexecutivesolution.co.uk/

In response to:How do I stop dreaming and actually start my own business?

try www.telecomplus.org.uk/agcornell

I set up my own business after leaving Uni and would simply say - do it. All the doubts and fears are natural, never diminish, and simply create inaction.

Hope you find a way.
